The Sacred Directions Medicine Wheel will provide you with an inner compass to navigate through your journey. I welcome you to come and remember who you are.
Kristina Nez Begay (Dine’) has designed the Sacred Directions- personal transformation through shamanism course from the teachings of healers, shamans, and medicine people from North America and Peru. The Medicine Wheel will be your compass for each of the four sacred directions on our journey. This training program is one of life-changing transformation, personal healing, and growth for the soul. Learn how to walk in beauty and honor Mother Earth and yourself by living in gratitude. We will navigate this riveting metamorphosis using ancient shamanic practices for healing. We will develop and strengthen our relationship with Spirit through ritual and ceremony. This training program meets four sessions over one year and includes classroom instruction, hands-on-practice, experiential exercises, and ceremony.
All meals are included but please bring a healthy snack to pass.

South Direction: You start your journey around the Medicine Wheel by looking to the sacred south direction by exploring the foundation in energy medicine practices. In the south, the snake teaches you to shed the past, like its skin, so you can emerge renewed. This act of releasing things that no longer serve a purpose keeps you moving forward in life. Moving past old stories allows you an opportunity to write a new life story.
August 29 – September 1st, 2019
West Direction: In the west examine what you hold inside of your shadows and bring it out without fear of what may be discovered. See how negative energies held in your luminous energy field affect your health and well-being. You will learn how to map and release ancestral imprints and past life karma. Learn to listen to your inner voice and trust your intuition so you can accept guidance from the Spirit World.
November 7 – 10, 2019
North Direction: In the sacred north direction you stand in our own light instead of being bound by the roles that you fill. Learn to live in gratitude to discover your true gifts by connecting to the collective unconscious. Use ancient technique of soul retrieval to call back the parts of your soul that broke away due to trauma to create wholeness and harmony in your soul. Included in this direction you will be making your own drum for journeying.
February 27 – March 1, 2020
East Direction: The east you will examine your life’s journey to see how the choices you make in life becomes woven into the stories of those around you. Learn to die consciously and be reborn to a life you create every step. Explore the gifts Creator has for you and embody your Higher Self in your true calling.

Facilitator: Kristina Nez Begay (Dine’) is a Reiki Master, a practitioner of shamanic energy medicine, and a medium. She also has a bachelor’s degree in American Indian Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is continuing her education in Human Resources at Ottawa University and Parapsychology and Metaphysical Science at the University of Sedona. She has trained extensively with Tia LaVoie of Be Love See Love, Amy and Dave Wilinski of Golden Light Healing, Jose Luis Hererra of Andean Research Institute, the Foundation for Shamanic Studies and received teachings from other medicine people throughout the world. Kristina Nez Begay continues to learn and share with her community. She has a deep connection with Spirit and Mother Earth and travels between the worlds to bring information back to help people.
Co-Facilitator/Intern: Irene Pregl, Founder of St. Croix Healing Arts Center has brought her love for personal growth and development into the center and passion for education as a tool for personal empowerment. She has her Masters in Social Work. She is a Master Teacher of Usui Reiki and has completed her Shamanic studies at Golden Light Healing, and has traveled to Peru and studied with Jose Luis Hererra of Andean Research Institute.
